The creature was slashed across the chest by a silver blade, the monster falling to the ground with a large thud. The blonde kid stared at who was before him, a kid a little older then him with silver hair reaching down to his ankles. He shreathed his sword into it's hold and slung it across his back. the older kid looked 10 maybe... and the younger looked just about 7.
"You should know better than to go freeze while a monster is about to rip out your chest." the kid said, rolling his eyes a little. The blonde shuffeled a little uncofmfortabley. "I'm sorry.."
".... Whats your name?" The older of the two asked. The blonde blinked, "Um... C-Cloud." he answered, watching the stranger closley as he turned to look at him. The silverette stared for a moment, looking Cloud over up and down before walking over and grabbing his hand to look at his hurt palm. The blonde's palm had been sliced when he had tried to drodge the monster's claws.
"You're hurt." The older stated.
Cloud snatched his palm away, hiding it in his other hand. "N-No... its just fine..." Cloud insisited.
"My name." the silverette told Cloud, getting his hand back and pulling some covering out of his pocket. Cloud watched as Sephiroth wrapped his hand in the makeshift bandage and tied it with his teeth and fingers. "There. This should hold back the blood for a little while. Run on back home." Sephiroth advised, turning to start walking away.
Cloud followed Sephiroth for a good 10 minutes until the silverette had to turn and ask: "Why are you following me..?"
"..." Cloud sniffed, "I'm lost... I don't know where to go..." he admitted. "I tried to run away but it didn't work..."
Sephiroth sighed, walking to the blonde and taking his hand, leading back onto the trail he was following himself. The entire time, the blonde was silent and Sephiroth was too, not minding it being so quiet. Quite soon, Sephiroth had Cloud on his back, both arms wrapped around the silverette's neck and legs held up by his arms.
The trip through the mountains was a long treck, but it was going to get dark far before they reached Neiblheim, so Sephiorth decided to camp somewhere for the night. Cloud wasn't to fond of the idea or concept of camping out at night with a stranger.
Sephiroth lowered his eyes at the small kid in his lap, watching him with somewhat soft eyes. His silver hair was flicked off behind his shoulder as he leaned down and kissed the blonde's forehead.
"...she always said when your alone, someone'll surely be there for you..."
Cloud was walking alongside Sephiroth, Neiblheim comming into veiw as Sephiroth stopped. "Nice traveling with you, Cloud." he said, letting go of Cloud's hand. Cloud blinked, "Your leaving?"
"I have to."
"Oh... Will I see you again?"
Cloud's head sunk down in sadness, frowning as Sephiroth walked up to him and took one hand in his own. The silverette kissed the back of Cloud's hand softly, Cloud blushing as Sephiroth stood up. "If we don't, just know everytime and anytime your alone, I'll be there for you. Maybe not physically but..."
Cloud blushed a little as he was kissed on the hand. The older of the two smiled at this and let go, making a nod with his head. "I'll see you around, Cloud."
